NextBio is offering student travel grants of up to $900 to be used to attend the conference of your choice. Three grants of $900, $600 and $500 will be disbursed to the first, second, and third place winners, respectively.
The travel grant contest is open to currently enrolled undergraduate students, graduate students and post-doctoral scholars.
We review applications and announce grant awards twice a year. Please see the deadlines below for dates.

Essays must include a clear research focus, and a minimum of one figure based on NextBio data. Examples of acceptable figures include exported images from NextBio apps, screenshots for specific query results, or figures based on data exported from NextBio. All text, references, figures and any supporting information must be submitted as a single MS Word or PDF document.
All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m PST on March 1, 2012 to be considered. Incomplete or partial applications will not be evaluated. Recipients will be notified of their grant via e-mail by April 20, 2012.
