To enable our users to easily import large datasets into NextBio and more effectively analyze information from our platform, NextBio provides 3 different Application Programming Interfaces (or API's):

A REST-based search API to retrieve data out of NextBio
An auto-complete widget for search and tagging using our ontology
An API for secure bulk import of data

REST-based Search API

Developers can use this simple REST-based API to build mashups with NextBio or integrate search results within their application. This API is currently available to a select group of partners and will be freely available to all registered users soon. Auto-complete Widget for Search and Tagging Using our Ontology

The NextBio auto-complete search bar is available as a widget to our premier enterprise and paid users. You can leverage the power of NextBio's ontology by embedding some simple HTML in your own web page. The NextBio search bar is also freely available. Secure Bulk Import of Data
